Boil joins the team slightly before the mid game. Given his experience Boils base stats are run much higher, along with his level. Boil initially starts with a Elfire but can gain a Volcannon by talking with Deadfish. 6 chapter later Boil will get the Valflame by visiting his house. When Boil gets the Valflame he will become far stronger then he already is. Boil also starts with the Fala Scroll described as a childhood luck charm of his. Give it to whoever needs it the most. Boil has the benefit of having very good Offense and defense on both the physical and magical side (with a slight emphasis on the magical side) but lacks speed and to a lesser extent skill. Boils luck is also fairly reliable.
